Innodyn Twin Turbine to be displayed at Oshkosh 2005
Preliminary design has now been completed on a new Innodyn product, the Innodyn Twin Turbine, which will be statically displayed for the first time at Oshkosh 2005. Testing and refinement will take several months to complete before production deliveries will commence. The Innodyn Twin Turbine is projected to fit into a space of only 24 inches width, weigh approximately 320 pounds (145 kg), and will house two Innodyn turbines geared through a common gear box with a total output of up to 500 SHP. At full power of 500 SHP, the Twin Turbine should consume approximately 35 gallons per hour of fuel. In addition to higher total SHP, the Twin Turbine will provide redundancy and independence of operation between the two turbines. Additional information concerning Twin Turbine development will be posted as available.
