Innodyn Turbines: An IntroductionOver the life of the Turbine, we recommend changing the reduction gear oil (1.75 quarts) every 500 hours. This is similar to changing a car’s transmission oil and is not the same as checking the oil and changing the oil in a reciprocating engine. We recommend changing the spark plugs every two years or 1,000 hours, and we recommend looking at the Turbine and the compressor annually to inspect their condition. This examination of the condition of the rotors can be done without disassembling the Turbine.

Because there is one principal moving part in the Innodyn Turbine, and this part is rotating, we don’t expect that there will be much required for either maintenance or overhaul. We currently estimate that the Turbines will not require overhaul before 5,000 hours. However, when overhaul is required, Innodyn will offer to perform a factory overhaul for a fair price; we are certain this will be for less than 1/3 the purchase price of the Turbine.

The Innodyn Warranty

We have worked hard to design the very best in reliability into our Turbines, to include redundant safety features and are very confident in the quality of design and workmanship that is embodied in all Innodyn Turbines. The inherent reliability of turbines is well-known, and we are confident that as more and more Innodyn Turbines take to the sky, ours will be no different.

Innodyn offers a comprehensive one-year warranty on our Turbines. Should your Innodyn Turbine experience any difficulties caused by a defect in components or manufacture during this time, we will repair or replace the Turbine.
