Innodyn came to life as Affordable Turbine Power in 1997. Founded
by Chuck and Charlie Nearhoof, the company was immediately focused
on delivering turbine power at a reasonable price to the experimental
aircraft owner and pilot. Chuck and Charlie developed a number
of unique technological solutions to make this happen – several
of these technologies are now a part of Innodyn’s patents.
Specifically, they developed a unique fuel-control technology that
is the foundation of Innodyn’s overall cost-effectiveness.
Following a successful public debut of the Turbine at the 2002
EAA AirVenture / Oshkosh Show, Chuck and Charlie prepared to move
forward with marketing and manufacturing. A number of potential
financiers, however, were unconvinced. Fast forward two years,
and the management team and financing have come a long way
In early 2004, a highly
successful fund-raising effort was launched – aimed at getting the company
off the ground, initiating manufacturing of the company’s
Turbines, and creating new partnerships to support the company’s
market entry. Along the way, we changed our name from ATP to Innodyn
and received a patent on our advanced fuel control technologies.
Today, Innodyn continues its efforts to develop additional growth capital and complete product development and testing, preparing to manufacture and market our Turbines
to a variety of markets. We’re convinced that our combination
of competitive pricing and patented fuel-control technologies make
us a compelling consideration in all Turbine applications. |
